Do I need experience in corrections to be considered for a position?

No. Many of our Advanced Practice Providers join our team without having prior corrections experience. If you are a new graduate or seasoned professional, we encourage you to inquire directly with the recruiter listed for additional information or to find out how working in corrections has many similarities to working in a hospital or clinic setting.

What type of support staff are available?

As a Centurion Health provider, you have access to a nationwide network of passionate, experienced providers who work in collaboration as a multi-disciplinary team to provide quality healthcare to our patients. Centurion Health also employs a wide range of support staff at each of our sites including but not limited to: clerks, technicians, nursing, behavioral health and other licensed medical staff.

Will I have to work holidays, nights or weekends?

Nearly all of our Advanced Practice Providers have flexible, weekday schedules with no nights, weekends or holidays. There are a few exceptions at a limited number of facilities. Inquire directly with the recruiter listed for additional information.

Will I be employed by the Department of Corrections?

No. You will be employed by Centurion Health.
