Centurion Health is honored to once again partner with the Corrections Foundation. We are proud to help further their mission of supporting the programs, personnel, and services of the Florida Department of Corrections.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought significant personal challenges to everyone, and we are fully conscious of the increased strain the epidemic has brought to incarcerated individuals. To help address the fragile status of our patients, Centurion Health and the Pro Football Hall of Fame have produced a series of short videos addressing perseverance, hope, and self-care during times of challenge, specifically for the correctional population. The videos were sent to facilities throughout the country to be shown in 11 states and viewed by over 325,000 people. We appreciate our partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame and our mutual dedication to the health and wellness of correctional populations.
Centurion Health is proud to be a part of the DOC's overhauled Substance Abuse Treatment Program, called Road to Recovery. This program is guided to individualize the care for each patient and help them be as successful as possible once they are released from the facility. The new program aligns with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and levels of care. Addiction treatment is one of the crucial steps to successful community reentry.
Centurion strives to incorporate innovative care models into correctional healthcare. One way Centurion does this is by investing in new technologies and clinical resources, including partnering with MyWoundDoctor for specialized wound care. Centurion is proud to offer these innovative resources to patients and deliver better clinical outcomes for partner agencies.
